"Time Famine" describes an individual's persistent feeling of time shortage. The work explores how time systems shape individuals, reflecting the transformation of time into a visible, quantifiable entity. Through the materialization and concretization of time, the work demonstrates how every minute and hour is endowed with a specific "value,"The human perception of time has shifted from a natural passage to an activity of "consumption" or "investment". This has also led to the "time famine" that exists in society and among individuals.
The artist uses an abstract, non-linear narrative style, using the nature of water flow and the changing state of the individual as metaphors to present the passage of time and the individual's powerlessness and vulnerability in the time system. The work guides the audience in a cinematic manner to contemplate the nature of time, its value, and the complex relationship between individuals and time.
